Recently my blog have been updated only weekly it seems. Just didn’t have enough energy from my lazy body to blog after work every day, not that there is much to talk about either. A few things happened this week, some scary, some stupid, some pek chek-ing , some lameness, and some? Totally pisses me off. Most of it all happened at my work place.

So… there, I have been working on a semi customer service line for a few months now I would say. There has so many weird cases which amaze me to no end. I stand in the shop whole day waiting for the right customers but most of them are irrelevant people asking for help. And Most of the time, they ask for help which could be solve with some simple thinking of testing. To think the place I work at are full of educated office working people. At least my impression of office working people are full of ideas, knowledge, organized, and willing to look for solutions for most cases, I was indeed quite wrong.

There seems to be a bunch of office ladies around who wear nice looking skirt, slim long sleeves shirt, and mid way belt wearing nice high heels which looks expensive, and of coz expensive looking bags, they smell like a lady and act like one. They seems to trust their office guy as their “technical advisor” although not all of them may be technically inclined, but since they have a stick in their pants. They must know everything… If they say something is this way, it MUST be this way then, they can’t be wrong, how could they be wrong? They are the almighty guys who knows everything…”My technical guys, those guys around.. blah blah ( told me so)”

In one of this cases, a lady came to me and told me half furiously that her device was not working upon purchase the day before, and would like to change to a brand new one. In much doubt, I had to examine her device before actually letting her make a scene at the main counter. *Just like most customers would do* I listen to her explanation and then tried to do some settings to the device, but as I was trying to take the device from her, she was all trying to explain much, much more into detail, telling me about things the her guys told her etc… seems that she was afraid that I might damage the device more in a single touch or some sort. “it must be spoiled” she claimed. I had to politely ‘beg’ her to let me try, and then did some simple settings to her device, and there she got a working device… This wasn’t all that bad… but I didn’t feel like talking about the bad ones… not really in the mood too…

There is a funny one though, a lady came in to the counter and one of my colleagues ‘L’ served her.

Lady : ( queries )

L : ( answers )

Lady : Oh~ ! How did you know how to blah blah blah….

L : your common sense will tell you mdm.

Lady : Oh yeah, you are right…

L : *dumbfound*

Yeap yeap, unfortunately these are just some of the people we serve on daily basis…

I didn’t know if it was my recent down swing, or just purely being pissed coz of the time taken to process an online purchase. So I sent a not so polite email to the seller to find out what is going on, and she sent a not so polite email back which spoils my mood for the night… Pissed but worried at the same time coz she may just end up delaying it more… or maybe not…. Anyway here it is…

I am Jacinth Ho, 81715121. I understand that making the 2nd payment is for something like the filling up of the lack of shipping fee. I had done my 2nd payment as requested, shouldn't it meant that my bags arrived safely thus requires the 2nd payment to be made?

My name didn't appear on the first shipment list and I was informed that it was on pre-order status. I made the purchase from PG mall near the end of July, I have expected the product to arrived latest by mid of September due to the 4 - 6 weeks , but until October it is still on pre-order status?

Is there a reason why this happen? And if so, is it possible for me to know about when I can really finally receive the products I bought all at one go.

Your response to my queries thus far have been efficient and helpful, I really do appreciate that, but the speed in getting hold of the PG Mall product has been quite slow to say. It was meant as a birthday gift but I didn't end up being able to give her on time.

If possible, please update me as soon as possible. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

And then… her reply to me…

Hi Jacinth,

U made ur payment on mid july,doesnt mean the spree is closed then. Spree ended in mid august.

Moreover, 4-6weeks is onli approximately.

2nd payment has nothing to do with wat ur bags have arrived safely or wat. we have paid seller first before they will processed the order.

It is rightful that u all pay us back.

U asked why is it so that ur bags are nt here. of cos its cos u ordered bags that need to be pre-ordered.

The bags pre-order processing time is not up to me to decide ok. I got no control except keep sending the seller email.

In the future, pls do not join sprees if u are in rush for items. The total time taken for a spree is not fixed; subject to stock availability.

It is very unkind of u to blame for us for the delay. We certainly dun deserve that.

The latest updates given by PG is that there are 2 more bags which are pre-ordering.

It is of coz only a coincident though, that out of so many orders, there are only 2 bags under pre-order status and it belongs to me, even though I have no recollection of these bags being pre-orders… at all…

I didn’t plan to have anymore dispute with her way of handling these purchases because I really didn’t want to offend her any further in case she decides to just keep my purchases until next year. Didn’t plan on buying anything from them anymore after this experience. First and last time, period.

So, yeah, sadly, there is really nothing much to be happy about this week other then purchases from another spree have been received and passed to me by Pammy. Good thing coz it was really suppose to be birthday present for a friend. Now I just need to get a nice box for it…

Hope better things come along for the rest of this weekend… else I would really sianz ½ for the whole of next week…
