Been working this 2 days, the 1st day was pretty stable, nothing too special happen, just a very normal one, with busy hours and multi tasking needs but, today was chaotic. The people swarm in like bees around honey and there is a lot of people to handle. It started out with a quite noon and an angry boss, but after that, it was a sit, and see whose turn to go for a toilet break type of relaxing period. When the special crowd I have to serve came in the near evening time. My hands are full of things to do and people who didn’t realize that the lines there are for them to queue came poking my arms from the sides I tell you, it’s irritating. They just kept rubbing your arms with their fingers once a while if you didn’t attend to them, I mean can’t they see there is a line in front and I am busy. I have to shout multiple times for them to get in order, it felt as though my voice was sold out. One customer even raised his voice at me for referring him to places with more equipment to help him. I was so *ugh* I raised my voice back at him. Not the shout instruction coz there are too many people kind, but the one to one don’t you dare raise your voice at me when I didn’t do anything wrong type. Then again, you can’t really avoid the once a while unreasonable customers when you’re working in such an environment.

That was the busy time, something even scarier happen in the sunny relax slow paced hours. This old man who came to enquire things without intending to buy anything. It’s not like I have a problem with it though since I am half the customer service there. It’s just that this old man might have forgotten that saliva should be kept in his mouth. Each time he open his mouth to talk, + the angle of the sun. I could see the saliva burst out of his mouth like a burst of rain drops flying towards my everywhere ( you know when you look up into the sky when it’s raining, you see one big droplet burst into many lil droplets? Yeah that’s what I am talking about. His saliva BURST towards my everywhere. Guess how I was feeling at that few very moment.

20% horrified

20% shocked

20% disgusted

20% wanting to run away

20% trying to keep my cool

The first wave of saliva burst left me thinking ( I MUST WASH MY FACE TONIGHT THOROUGHLY )

The second wave of saliva burst made me think ( NO ITS NOT ENUFF, I HAVE TO SCRUB MY FACE )

The third wave of saliva burst has killed every last bit of me ( my face is rotting rotting rotting rotting )

The best part is, it’s not even funny. I swear. My hands, my hair and my rotting face.

*sobs*

I came home today and found out a good news though, the few job application I sent finally one has replied. Well, I am gonna go for a job interview tomorrow, it’s not the best job out there but I still hope I get it but, I don’t know how to tell them that I will be away for 3 weeks in September. Well I already stated it in my resume though, I suppose they should have gone thru it before replying me. So I will still be going for the interview. Good luck to me. If possible I hope they only require me to work at the start of Oct, but then again, would they be looking for employee now if they need someone so much later? *sigh* just shoot me. I will put on my best tomorrow just $#%@#$@% wish me luck. If a miracle happens that I really get the job, * I really wish I get it * I will just juggle both the singtel job and this new job around, since one starts on sat noon and one is at weekdays till sat noon. I can imagine the days to come … well if I get the job.
