Hhmm, the weather was fine today, rained a bit in the noon maybe, but during my working hours, the weather was so cooling.. the wind just nearly blew me to my sleep. I sit on the chair and wandered into dream land… a beautiful field of black rose which smells like coconut.. then when I knock myself back on reality. I was in the dorm of construction workers selling singtel sim card.
Most people would think that as long as there is Bangladeshi or Indians around, in huge group I say, the area will smell like coconuts. The really heavy coconut scent u can smell from most traditional Indian girls hair. But you’re wrong. Not everyone smell like that. I was in the open area though, I heard the room smell different but well, we Chinese smells like incense too don’t we.
Due to my work, I think my English is getting from bad to worse. Not only that but an Indian accent has attach to it. My Chinese is getting more … hhhmmm.. I don’t know what to say about that. I am starting to be able to understand mandarin spoken from the mouth of people from china. And when I speak to them, I have no trouble using their accent. This job has my way of speaking changed on the outline. There seems to be an accent in everything I say. Especially during my work.
My colleagues on the other hand are nothing but humor. The way they speak to the Bangladeshi and Indians are giving me endless laughter. I don’t exactly laugh out loud, didn’t really wanna offend them in anyway, but I was surely kept entertained. There are humors to the extreme too. Imagine while on our way to work. You and your friend who are a bunch of Chinese, one of them decided to be funny and starts to call every one on the streets “brother” in their language. Bayar, or Ah Neh and then laugh about it. You’ll really start to wonder if those people take it as a joke or an racial insult. It sprinkle some fear into you yet its funny you can’t help but laugh.
They even do things like creep up to a person from behind, slowly their mouth came very near his ear, still from behind. And then whispering “bayar” into their ears. Every single actions before the word bayar came out was unknown to the victim. And one word at night beside the ear when you think no one else is around you can send u off flying.
How could u not laugh at that.
So basically work is fun..
Although recently I have been having bad daaayysss.. today when I was browsing thru some forum, I came across an image which makes my day.

How true how true… just had to paste it on my blog. Haha..
I will be meeting pam on Thursday, finally I have an off day, since my working hours are so different from my friends, I can hardly find the time to meet them. Kinda miss them …just kinda... i think ... haha
